Hi! I'm Emily, and I practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Los Angeles, CA.

I've been told that I come from a long line of health care practitioners–from my Filipino great-great-grandmother, a village shaman-healer, to my dad, a Western family doctor.

With a strong respect for both western knowledge and ancient wisdom, I practice modern Chinese medicine for the whole family.

I received a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s college over a decade ago, and I've studied with renowned specialists in women’s health and fertility such as Randine Lewis best-selling author of The Infertility Cure

Using herbs and acupuncture for fertility, I guide women on the road to motherhood from pre-conception preparation for natural pregnancies to support for more advanced fertility challenges requiring Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

I have extensive experience with pregnancy acupuncture - helping expectant moms through all stages of their pregnancies, from morning sickness and back aches to labor prep and postpartum care.

As a busy mother of two, I understand the unique needs of modern families. Through years of treating women’s health and fertility, I have heard many moms (and dads!) wishing for more diverse healthcare options for their little ones.

I've completed extensive post-graduate work in holistic pediatrics through the Holistic Pediatric Association. My practice blends both eastern and western traditions to provide optimal, compassionate care for kids. Although I am trained as an acupuncturist, my children’s practice very seldom uses needles and includes kid-friendly tools to stimulate acu-points.

I also incorporate palatable herbal remedies, Chinese therapeutic massage, homeopathy and nutritional counseling, as well as providing a comprehensive network of resources for parents. I believe that healthy kids make healthy adults… so it’s never too early to be well.

I look forward to working with you! Click here to book your appointment with our easy online scheduler.
